Lighting

Most of the film will take place in daylight, using extraordinary sunshine that lends a real and immersive quality to the picture. Depending on time, we could have a warm, soft glow or an intense high-contrast effect.

For the dark room scene where Lukias is introduced, there will be no natural light coming in. The only light will be controlled, lending to a cabin or interrogation feel. We want to keep the environment as dark as possible in place to ensure the lighting is focused on either critical actions in the background or the subject of focus: using lamps or smaller sources of light for brief sections of each shot that could help guide attention or illuminate relevant details; for example, flickering monitors, shifting shadows to evoke tension and unease.
